Amalie Jones
Amalie Jones (b.2003) is a Cambridge-based Contemporary painter. In 2024 she completed her Undergraduate Degree at Lancaster University with a BA First Class Honours in Fine Art.
Her painting practice, influenced by visuals synoymous with Op Art and Geometric Abstraction, explores the phenomenon and beauty of ephemeral colour that is dependent on specific light and viewing conditions, a perceptual experience that often goes unnoticed within our surroundings.
